Hi! I'm Craig Donaldson! I'm an aspiring journalist and student at Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario, where I'll be graduating in April of 2024. I was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario.  In 2021 I moved to Wasaga Beach, Ontario, where my family resides.

I graduated with honours from Humber College in 2019 with an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Media Foundations. 
My time at Humber College was a chance to explore different roles in the media industry, but I knew by the end of my program, that my calling was journalism. When I graduated I was recognized with Humber College’s Academic Award of Excellence for achieving the highest honours average in my program.

In 2022 I started studying journalism at Seneca College, where I’m expected to graduate in April of 2024. At Seneca, I’ve gained media experience through various ENG projects and newsroom productions.  I've learned how to professionally interview people, and write stories for print, video, and the web. I've also had the opportunity to produce newscasts in the studio on campus, as well as produce radio newscasts and reports. My time at Seneca has prepared me to confidently work in any role the industry has ready for me.

In January 2024, I started a seven-week internship with MobileSyrup.com, one of Canada's leading sources for tech news.
During my internship, I had the opportunity to write about a variety of stories in the tech world, from cell phones to electric cars, to video games, AI, and computers. I accumulated 150 hours of valuable work experience in the industry and wrote 94 articles during my time at MobileSyrup.

I'm passionate about current affairs and technology, and I’m eager to read and report on the latest things going on in my province, my country, and the world. In my spare time, I'm an avid tech enthusiast and have been building desktop computers for over a decade. I’m a big Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs fan and I’m hopeful for both teams to win a big title again soon.  I’m also a fan of Star Wars and I’ve traveled with friends to fan events in the United States and the United Kingdom.
